Dr. Monique Barconey, DNP, MPH, APRN, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. This experience encompasses critical care, pediatrics, urology, women’s health, hospital administration, disease prevention and family practice. She is currently the owner and clinician of Paisley Family Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to opening Paisley FMC, She served as the Lead Nurse Practitioner for varied private physician owned clinics in the New Orleans metropolitan area and currently precepts Nurse Practitioner Students from the regional programs. She is the only family planning provider in the “Best Baby Zone” Hollygrove area and is a local PrEP provider. Her primary focus areas are maternal and child health, disease prevention, patient advocacy, and fostering healthy communities. Monique is a member of Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Tulane Medical Alumni; and is the Treasurer of the New Orleans Medical Association, a local chapter of the National Medical Association.
